A Path to Excellence


Katelynn’s journey with F2OnSite began in recruiting before she transitioned into finance—a shift that allowed her to leverage her organizational skills and analytical mindset. She embraced the challenge of payroll, mastering detailed processes and developing strategies to streamline workflows and maintain precision in every detail.

 

Beyond the Paychecks


Payroll is far more than processing payments; it requires meticulous oversight, cross-platform coordination, and constant data reconciliation. Katelynn understands that even the smallest miscalculation can have significant financial implications for our employees, and that is unacceptable by our company standards. “Every detail matters,” she explains. “Something as simple as an incorrect decimal can impact multiple reports, requiring extensive corrections.” Her ability to manage these complexities ensures the accuracy and reliability of our financial processes. “When we are processing literally thousands of paychecks every year, one mistake is one too many. We pride ourselves on how we support our team, being an Employee First company is important to us, and we take it very seriously.”

 

Precision Under Pressure


With strict deadlines and high-volume workloads, efficiency is critical. Katelynn prioritizes tasks based on urgency, carving out dedicated time blocks for critical functions to maintain accuracy. Her strategic approach allows her to meet tight payroll deadlines without compromising quality.

 

Balancing Work and Life


Outside of work, Katelynn stays just as busy. Whether she’s supporting her daughter on the softball field or keeping up with her energetic two-year-old, she understands the importance of balance. “Knowing when to ‘switch off’ work and focus on my family has been a game changer,” she says. This ability to stay organized and focused benefits both her professional and personal life.


In addition to her finance duties, Katelynn serves on the ‘Learning Tracks’ committee at F2OnSite, developing and overseeing the continuous education program of the company.  Her tenure and excellent skillset at F2 has gained her tremendous respect by employees, coworkers and customers as well.
